BENJAMIN WEBSTER – Huntsville, Alabama

Tell us what you do at Hexagon PPM, where you’re located and how long you’ve worked here.
I’m an associateproduct owner located in Huntsville, Alabama, and I help manage product features, backlogs, and releases in the 3D visualization groups. I’ve worked at PPM for a year and six months. I started off as an intern and was recently hired full time in March.

Before working at Hexagon PPM, what was the most unusual/interesting job you’ve ever had?

One of the most interesting jobs I’ve had was working in an unconditioneddoor factory spot welding door frames together.

How do you balance career and family?

I make sure to dedicate weekends to spending time with family. Although sometimes it can be hard since I have a big family.

How has Hexagon helped you in your career development?
I feel that working here has helped to refine my skills in management, communication, and collaboration.

If you could switch your job with anyone else within Hexagon, whose job would you want? 
Probably anyone from HR because they are always laughing and having fun.

What advice do you have for prospective Hexagon candidates?
Seize the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed.

What are three words to describe Hexagon?
Fast-paced, ever-changing, innovative.

Best vacation you’ve had?

The best vacation I had was in Utah. The state has some of the most beautiful and one-of-a-kind national parks and hiking trails.

What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?
I’ve learned to always look for the positive in every negative situation.

I’m surrounded by friends and family and enjoying a holiday dinner.
